Design in Villa is a festival taking place over the weekends of March 21–22 and 28–29, 2026, in seven beautiful historic residences in Veneto: Castello di Thiene, Parco Frassanelle, Villa Priuli Crisanti, Villa Rosa, Villa Angarano Bianchi Michiel, Villa da Schio, Villa Valmarana ai Nani / Il Bosco.
Seven historic residences in Veneto open their doors to contemporary design. A journey through castles, villas, and centuries-old parks, where past and future meet through the excellence of Italian design and the enhancement of craftsmanship.
Designers and creatives engage in dialogue with places inhabited for centuries, creating a unique experience made of stories, material, and beauty.
On March 21 and 22, the Castello di Thiene, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, will host a selection of works by Robi Renzi – Instagram: @robirenzi.
A designer and ceramic artist, born in the Marche region near Urbino, and trained in architecture in Florence. His path combines design rigor with material research, developed through close contact with artisan workshops and traditional know-how: an apprenticeship in which the hand becomes the measure of the project, balancing skill and control, precise timing, pressure, and delicacy.
After his Milanese experience—between a studio-laboratory, interior design projects, and collaborations with international companies and galleries in the worlds of fashion and furniture—he now lives and works in Veneto, focusing on ceramics and interior design.
At the core remains the idea of the object as a narrative, where there is no clear separation between function and artistic dimension, and where the slow time of the workshop coincides with the discovery of material.
