Summer 2026 Events at the Castle of Thiene: Concerts, Guided Tours and Magic in Veneto
Between baroque concerts, special openings and secret tours, the Castle of Thiene once again presents a summer 2026 calendar of events that combines history, culture and entertainment.

The first “Le Dimore della Musica” event on May 22, 2026
The Castle of Thiene’s 2026 summer season opens with “Le Dimore della Musica”, a project organised in collaboration with the Società del Quartetto di Vicenza and the Dimore Amiche del Veneto network.
Performing on stage: soprano Alice Fraccari and harpsichordist Enrico Bissolo, two young professionals presenting a repertoire waiting to be discovered, from Händel to Purcell and Giovanni Legrenzi. Baroque music in a baroque setting, surrounded by frescoes and the unique atmosphere that only the halls of a 15th-century castle can create.
Summer 2026 events at the Castle of Thiene
The May 22 concert was only the first of a series of events that will accompany visitors throughout the summer until September.

National Historic Homes Day on May 24
Two days after the concert, on May 24, the Castle will host a guided tour for the XVI National Day of Italian Historic Houses, an initiative that every year opens the doors of hundreds of private historic residences across Italy, creating the country’s largest “open-air museum”.
An opportunity to experience these spaces authentically, beyond the traditional tourist routes.
Special opening hours: the third Sunday of the month
For those who love hidden places, June 21, July 19, and August 16 are dates to mark on your calendar.
Every third Sunday of the month, the castle offers a guided tour featuring a special opening of the small Gothic chapel, the historic kitchens, and the 16th-century underground chambers.
These areas, which are normally off-limits to visitors, are open exclusively for one day only.
Secret Tour with Veneto Segreto – a journey to the most hidden places
On June 28, July 26, and August 23, the Castle will host another exclusive event: the Secret Tour, in collaboration with Veneto Segreto.
Participants will have access to the castle’s historic kitchen and cellars, areas that are normally off-limits to the general public and reserved exclusively for those taking part in this event.

Italian School of Magic in August and September
If you are travelling with children, there is one more reason to stop in Thiene between the end of August and early September: the Italian School of Magic returns for three consecutive editions (August 25–27, August 28–30, and September 4–6).
Since 2019, the Castle has transformed for three days into an enchanted kingdom where young aspiring wizards enjoy an immersive experience inspired by the world of Hogwarts.
It is not simply a show: it is an interactive event involving children.
